The Wrestling Match

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

Genesis 32:24

So many people have become complacent; just accepting what gets thrown at them. Were not prepared to fight anymore. Instead, we sit in the corners of the ring, crying to our Coach about how badly beaten up we are. God does not like complainers. He kept the Israelites in the wilderness for forty years because of their constant whining and complaining. God wants wrestlers.

Who said your opponent was going to allow you to beat him? Jesus said you were going to have tribulation. The enemy is going to fight back. And guess what? The bad guy always plays dirty. He's going to bring in the steel chair; he's going to throw sand in your eyes; he is going to hit you below the belt. Anything to keep you down. And talking nice to him is not going to stop the carnage. You need to wrestle, fight back with all the power and authority that God has given you.

Do not accept what Satan throws at you. Stop just "sticking it out." Fight back. Fight back for your spouse. Fight back for your financial blessings and for your prosperity. Fight back for your children. Fight back for the spiritual fire that you once had in your life. But don't let the enemy taunt you and wave the shiny gold "Championship" belt in front of you. He is anything but a champion.

He's the tail and you have been made the head. He is at the back, trying to catch you. And he shall not prosper over you. No weapon that he throws at you will prosper against you. Because greater is He that is in you than he that is in this world.

Remember, you can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens you. You are the head and not the tail. You are blessed going in and blessed going out. You have a spirit of power, love and of a sound mind. You are a wrestler for God and you will fight valiantly for that prize. Hallelujah. The God you serve is a God who is alive and alive forever more.
