The beginning is always dark and void. Starting a new project, you do not know what the desired end product is. Starting a new job and there is still a huge uncertainty as to what is expected of you. With every beginning comes some form of darkness.

John 1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." So whilst there is darkness at the beginning, so is there a mighty God. But knowing that God is a part of your situation from the beginning is not enough. You see, God does not entertain darkness. Darkness and light cannot walk together. And as a child of the living God, you too should not entertain any darkness in your life.

Darkness brings uncertainty and fear. Darkness brings a cloud of doubt into your life. And God will not entertain doubt and fear in your life. As long as these two ingredients exist in your life, you have no faith. And without faith you cannot please God.

So what do you do? You need to move into an area of abundant faith. You need to, just like God, SPEAK the WORD. Not read the Bible and put it down, but meditate on the Word day and night. You need to reach a spiritual state called "God-like faith." God-like faith speaks to the darkness and it reacts.

"Let there be" and things must happen. God looked upon the surface of the earth and He was not happy. It had no shape, no form, no representation of who God was. If there is a dark area in your life; be it sickness, poverty, emotional problems ... it is an area that God wants to brighten up and make a testimony in your life.

In the beginning there was God ... that is what you need to know. Go back to the beginning of your problem and bring God into that situation. God is the Alpha and the Omega, and He will make sure that all darkness is removed from your life.
