Jesus Loves You
Unto Jesus Christ, who loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood ... to him be glory and dominion forever and ever.
Revelation 1:5 to 6 (paraphrased)Whether you are a Christian or not, Jesus loves you. Whether you accept this truth or not, Jesus will continue loving you. Whether you have space in your heart or not ... Jesus loves you. We can make up every imaginable excuse and we can do the worst things imaginable ... Jesus will just keep on loving you.
You might have heard your parents or your spouse say, "I regret the day you were born," but you will never hear those words from Jesus. You may have been hurt in past relationships, abused mentally or verbally, been kicked when you were down ... but Jesus will never do that.
Who do you know will die for you? Perhaps a friend or your brother or sister ... but will a King leave his throne to come down to die for you? Jesus became a slave so that you can be set free. He went before you and overcame your enemies. Even before you knew Him, He already paid your debt and redeemed you.
The truth is ... Jesus doesn't just love you ... He was crazy about you ... crazy enough to forsake the world; crazy enough to be beaten so badly by the people He loved that His own could not recognize Him; crazy enough to leave a Heavenly kingdom to come to a world filled with corruption and hatred ... and why? Because JESUS LOVES YOU.
He took on every spiritual enemy ... EVERY enemy. For you. His love is so big that He made sure He covered every area of your life ... just to see you walk in freedom. And then, when He had made an end of your enemies, He covered you with His precious blood. He calls you His brother and His sister and He made you an heir to His Fathers kingdom ... so when you are done living a wondrous life on earth, an even better life awaits you in Heaven. Lets face it ... Jesus didn't just die on a cross for you because God asked Him to ... He died on the cross because He wanted you to share your eternity with Him in Heaven.
