In the Real World
Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14We live in a very real world. And many of us look at this world and we get depressed and saddened. But renew your mind today. What communion does light have with darkness? In other words, live in the real world, but think outside of it. Our world should be a world where we call things that do not exist into being.
Here are a few things that happen in the real world:
1. Moses came to a dead end when he delivered the children of Israel. But in the real world, he used the weapon God gave him (the rod) to part the Red Sea and to make a way where there was no other way.
2. In the real world, Ezekiel had to look at a valley of very dry bones and speak words of faith to make them an exceedingly great army.
3. In the real world, Mary and Martha saw their dead brother Lazarus walk again.
4. In the real world a man who was tormented day and night by a legion of demons was instantly delivered and became a witness for Jesus.
5. In the real world Jesus spoke a word of faith to a centurion and his daughter, hundreds of miles away, was instantly healed.
6. In the real world, youngsters shame giants, stutterers are turned into deliverers, a simple lady named Esther became the queen of empires, men of God tear bears and lions and still eat honey from their carcasses, lions mouths are shut, fires are quenched and children of God walk free.
What does your real world look like? Is your world filled with darkness or with light? JEHOVAH is the only living God that can take a dead situation sitting at the bottom of a valley and make it an exceedingly great reward that is proclaimed on mountaintops.
