A Perfect Life

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them.

God created you in His image. The Bible says that God is a spirit. Before you were created flesh and brought to this earth you were created a spirit being. Psalm 139 says, "Your eyes saw my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Your book all my members were written; which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."

You need to remember this ... always. God created you when there was yet no sin in this world. God created you before the thorns and the thistles came around, before trials and tribulations abounded. And when God created you He moulded your entire life for you.

He knew all your successes, all your achievements, all the milestones in your life. When sin entered the world, this did not alter the life God created for you. But what sin did do was make your life here on earth harder to accomplish the successes God has for you. You see, when God delivered the Israelite children from Egypt, He already had a Promised Land waiting for them.

Spiritual blindness will take you out of Gods plans for your life. The battles you fight are a battle to enter your Promised Land. All the blessings, the prosperity, the healthy life — this is what Satan is trying to steal from you. He does not want you to enter the Promised Land that God has prepared for you.

He wants you to be like the Israelite children that wandered in a wilderness for forty years, saw the land God promised them, but never inherited it. God wants you to live a life of abundance, created by you and fulfilled through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in this world." Establish a relationship with Jesus Christ and form a solid foundation in the Holy Spirit, and allow God to lead you into your Promised Land.
