Have BIG Dreams

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Acts 2:17

There are three things that the Spirit will do in Gods children:

The Spirit will cause you to prophesy The Spirit will cause you to see visions The Spirit will cause you to dream dreams.

What do all three have in common, though? They all relate to the future. God wants you to have big dreams and visions and prophecies for your life. The Bible says that where there is no vision My people perish. So often we dream a dream and then we forget about it because we think it is impossible.

God would prefer you having an impossible dream than no dream at all. Does God not delight in the impossible? When you have no dreams and no visions for your life, your life becomes routine; you are just alive, but you aint living life. You take life a day at a time with no interest or zest for life.

Whens the last you had a dream for your life? When was the last time you got excited about life? God told Habakkuk, "Though the vision tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not wait." We get so excited when we have a vision, but when time passes and nothing happens or things happen too slowly, we lose interest. We forget our vision. God is saying, "Wait for it. Though it tarry, wait for it. Continue to work on it. Don't give up on your vision, lest you perish."

Where would you like to be in life? What are your dreams in terms of family, your career, your finances, your marriage, your own home, and more importantly — your spiritual life, your walk with God? What do you want to do with your life?

Have a vision and big dreams for your life. Trust God to shape that vision and make that vision a reality.
