Who God is ... I need. How often in life we disappoint God. We scream at God when things do not go our way or we get upset and want to run away from God when we should be on our knees in repentance. Today, realize that everything that God is ... you need in your life.

Do you need Gods mercy in your life? Do you know about Gods grace? His love? His compassion? Gods faithfulness to you? Do you know who God is? Do you not need His loving embrace and His righteous right hand? His beauty and His glory? His tender mercies that are new every morning?

So often we take for granted His beauty, "Sorry God, I don't think I need your mercy today. I'm doing just fabulous without it." So often we forget that He is Jehovah-Rapha, our Healer or our Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. We forget that He is our strong banner, our best friend, King and Messiah.

Undeniably, everything you ever need in life will be found in the name that is above all other names, in the name that every knee shall bow to and every tongue will confess is the Lord of lords, and that is the name of Jesus.

There is nothing in this world that can come close to what God already is and what He is capable of doing in your life. He gives you joy to strengthen you, peace to restore you, love to wrap you up and He gives you a home to belong to. He gave His Word as a promise to you and His Holy Spirit to teach you, guide you and lead you.

Today endeavour to learn more about God, much more, so that you realize how much more you need God every day in your life.
