Feeling Condemned
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:17Have you tried so hard to live a holy, pleasing life to God that you actually live in fear of failing? When one reads the Word of God you will find a God that is ever so merciful and gracious, a God that sent His Son to save you and not to condemn you.
God knows that there will be times when we will let Him down; sometimes there are times when you are going to do something wrong.
The Jesus that we read of in the Bible was a man that sat with sinners to save them; He asked prostitutes for water and offered them living water and He offered the very same person who persecuted His people to be a part of that beautiful Kingdom of God.
I don't know what your past is like, and I don't know what Satan is trying to lie to you about, to keep you captive to self-condemnation; but I know that Jesus has washed away my past and He wants to wash yours away too. And when you do make a mistake and you are sincere in your heart to repent and ask for forgiveness, He is just to forgive you, to wash away your mistakes, and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
Do you believe that Jesus can save you? There is no other name that can do this. It is only the name of Jesus that can set the captives free. Believing in the name of Jesus will set you free. If you have given your heart to Jesus and you feel that you have disappointed God I want you to know that Jesus still loves you. The Bible says that it is not Gods will that any man perish but for all to come to repentance.
Do not think that there is no going back to the Father. He sent His Son to reconcile you to the Father. I know that God waits for you, arms wide open, to have a feast for that prodigal child that has returned home.
