Victory For the Faithful
For behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:1 to 2Victory is always promised to those who fear and love the Lord. The wicked shall perish and their works remembered no more, but the righteous shall endure forever.
God promises victory to them that overcome the lusts and cares of this world. Being more than a conqueror goes beyond just quoting the Word; to be a conqueror you need to live the Word of God in your life. Not the Word that you choose to live, but the Word from Genesis to Revelation.
To enjoy victory in your life you need to have that love of Christ in your life, you need to spend time in prayer and reading the Word, and take the time to be still before the Lord. God created you to be the head and not the tail. He wants you to trample down the high places of the wicked and He wants you to draw all men near to Him.
As a child of God, you were created with a winning spirit; the Spirit of the Living God abides in you. But do not quench the Holy Spirit. Daily you need to crucify the worldly desires and allow the Holy Spirit to use you dynamically to be a victor in this battleground called earth.
Are you more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus? Do you daily crucify the lusts of this world? Right now ... do you know for certain that you can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives you strength?
