Each and every person that tries to draw closer to God will face persecution. And when you feel down and that you cannot take anymore, the enemy will keep advancing to destroy you. During all of this, learn this valuable lesson - Give everything to God.

We lose focus — we focus on the prayer meetings, on what our leaders require from us, on the trials and the tribulations, on the victories and the defeats — we have sought our many inventions. We have created our own belief system, our own understanding of God, and we try to understand what God is doing; we try to get ahead of God; we try to fix the problem. We have lost focus.

Today I exhort you to take your eyes off every little thing that you are thinking of — the new job, the new car, the house, the bills, the trials, the battles, the warfare, your ministry, the losses you have suffered, the gains you have made; and focus only on God who loves you so much that He sent His Son to die for you.

Clear your mind, clear your head of everything, and I mean everything. There is only one thing God wants you to do — and that is to give Him your heart, your mind, your emotions, your attitudes, your strengths and weaknesses. Give everything to God today.

You have to allow God to break down the vessel and rebuild it. Tell God, "LORD, I do not want to be a vessel that is marred by life; a vessel that carries stains and cracks. So break down this vessel, and create it again in Your beauty and splendour."

And be ready to move forward again. When you take your focus off God and place it on man, you will be defeated by the Goliaths in this world. But today, by simply saying, "LORD, I give you my everything," you will hit your Goliath in the forehead. When you give God everything He programs everything in you to be what He created you to be — a holy nation, a royal priesthood.
