I want to tell you a little secret. Go to the Old Testament and WHEREVER you read, "And it came to pass" ... start praising God. Come on. Because what I am going to tell you will change your prayer life. You can verify this yourself by doing a careful study of the Word of God.

Every time it says, "And it came to pass," God had spoken a word. And by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the prophets and the children of God received a word, an instruction, a prophecy, and they were told that something was going to happen.

And at that point, they believed God. They took God at His Word that what He said WOULD come to pass. So, what did they do to prove they believed what God said? They acted by FAITH (because faith is believing what God says, the Word of God, and acting on it — FAITH IS AN ACTION).

So they acted by faith and started declaring and prophesying and decreeing what God SAID to them, concerning what He was going to DO. In other words, they said exactly what God said. And because Gods Word is anointed, according to Isaiah 55, it shall deliver results.

"So shall my Word be that goes out from my mouth, it shall not come back unto Me void, but it shall prosper in what it is sent to do." It was the declaration of Gods Word that made things come to pass.

God said it. They believed it. They acted on it. And it came to pass. So when you are going through a circumstance, what should you do? Get a Word from God (the infallible Word of God), believe it, speak it, and wait for it to come to pass.

According to Job 22:28, Gods Word will be established and it shall come to pass.
