"Quick and powerful." Man thought that creating the atomic bomb was the most powerful force that could ever be created and playing around with nuclear devices gave them all the power they needed. But the Word of God is more than that; sharper than any twoedged sword. No weapon can stand against the word of God.

Actually, when David went against Goliath, he told that giant, "You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied." The Word overcomes the sword, the spear and the shield and is able to destroy any giant in your life.

My friend, when you hold the Bible in your hands — it is not a mere book, but a Book that has the unquenchable power to change situations. Ever been in a situation and you did not know what to tell God? Pray Gods Word into that situation. Gods Word is all you need to overcome any situation.

Even Satan knows that; he used the Word to try and overcome a dangerous threat to his kindgom ... the Lord Jesus Christ. And how did Jesus respond? Not with big fancy words, but simply with the Word of God. And Satan had no option but to flee.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. And the Bible says that you must speak to your mountains if you want to overcome them. So, if you confess Gods living Word into your situation you are, at the same time, building your faith. And the Word says that when you have faith like the small mustard seed ... that mountain has to move.

When He says you are healed ... you are healed. When He says that the seed of the righteous will not beg for bread ... you will not go hungry or destitute. Gods Word is always final, it is life and truth to them that believe in it.
