The Ways We Lead

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2 Peter 2:2

You are a leader. As a Christian, there is a Jesus in you that the world does not know about, has not had the opportunity to speak with and that may never receive the joy, love and peace that He offers.

With that said, it goes without reason that you are a person who creates a path around you, a path that others would love to follow but, because of what they have been fed or what they have seen, are fearful to enter into. Moreover, there are deceivers and false prophets that walk around as sheep among the brethren, but are ravening wolves within. They want to destroy the Word of God, and make your walk with Christ take on no meaning to the world.

Whens the last you took stock of your conduct? Do you show the church one half of yourself and the world another? Are you like the lukewarm church in Revelation, with one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom of God? The Word says that God will spew them out if they do not get that one foot back into the Kingdom.

Its the same with you and me. When we compromise for the world we become lukewarm. And if you do it once, thinking you wont do it again, you wrong. It gets easier the second time round. And it eventually becomes a habit, a dirty habit that others around you start picking up.

And because of the way we conduct ourselves, we lead others astray. Have you ever thought what your life would be like if you had the name of JESUS written all over you? How different would your life be if JESUS walked by your side every second of the day? Well, He does. And yes, you do have the name of JESUS all over you. Actually, its "Christ in you." That's it ... you have JESUS inside you. Are you leading the world by example?
