Born Again

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mothers womb, and be born?

John 3:4

Have you ever had regrets in life? Have you gone through some days of depression thinking, "I wish I never did that"? Did you know that the day you give your life to Jesus is the day you start living? It is the day you are spiritually born and your spirit is fired up.

You might say, "I was a drug addict" or "I shed innocent blood." But when your life is transformed on the day you get born again, Jesus washes your criminal record clean and you are made a new creation.

A new creation ... it is like entering into your mothers womb a second time and coming out an innocent babe, ready to face life all over again. Being born again means you have a second chance at doing Gods will. Being born again gives you the opportunity to change the person you were.

When you give your life to Jesus, forget the fact that you were a "whatever" ... You "were" becomes an "I will be" and then, as you start reading the Word of God, you begin to realize how many positive "I will be" statements there are in the Bible compared to the negative "I was" statements you can think of.

Truth is ... you can write down every "I was" statement that applies to you and God simply says, "I have no idea what you are talking about. You have a clean slate in front of you. There are no accusations against your name in My book. My book calls you more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. My book says that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. My book says that you have a greater power in you than the god of this world has. Are you reading My book correctly?"

If you are born again you have every reason to rejoice today.
