Do Not Neglect So Great a Salvation

For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Hebrews 2:2 to 3

If you are one of those Christians that took a long deserved break this festive season, and put your Bibles away for this time, you probably have two voices speaking to you.

The one voice will be the voice of the Shepherd, calling you back and asking you to repent. The other voice will be that of the stranger, the father of lies, telling you that there is no hope and that God does not love you and He is not willing to forgive you.

If God could forgive an adulterer like David, a murderer like Saul, sorcerers and witches, men possessed with legions of demons ... surely God will forgive you and restore you? When Satan lies to you and says that God will not forgive you, he is not attacking you. He is merely saying that the blood of Jesus does not have the power to wash away your sins.

Satan is into the business of discrediting the blood of Jesus. He knows the truth; he knows that the blood of Jesus can make you white as snow. He knows that the blood of Jesus will remove every trace of disobedience and sin in your life.

You are a child of God, a child with destiny and purpose. And it is only through the blood of Jesus that you can be called the child of a Living God. It does not matter what you have done to hurt God, the blood of Jesus will wash away those acts of disobedience.

The decision lies with you:

1. Resist Gods righteous right hand that is lifting you up; 2. Stay halfway up, God hanging on, holding you there and the enemies

hanging on, still not letting go, or 3. Allow God to pull you up, while kicking and resisting the enemy

pulling you down.
