Faith and Works
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Hebrews 11:1 and James 2:17Faith without works is dead. How often do you kill your faith in God by the words of your mouth? Many Christians have this habit of making their problems look bigger than God, and we forget that God can make all things work together for good to them that love Him and who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
When problems arise, we have two options: we can confess how big the problem is or we can confess how big our God is. Your mouth can speak words of faith into any situation that the enemy throws at you. That is what exercising faith means.
It is realizing that God is still in control and that He is able to turn the situation around for your good. That is what faith is. It is seeing the good news amongst the lies of bad news the enemy is filling your mind with.
But once you know that God is in control, and that He will make all things work out for your good, you need to get a strategy. Knowing the end result is vision; but just like every other vision, there is work to be done to bring that vision to pass. You being healed of cancer ... that's a vision. Your dream job ... that's a vision you paint and you step out in faith and confess Gods blessings into your life.
Confess what your heart believes in line with the Word. And then execute the strategy ... you fight the good fight of faith. And if you don't have that fighting spirit or strategy, you need to get onto your knees and ask God to reveal that strategy to you. You need to get into Gods strategy, into His pathway; ask the Master for a strategy to get results. Too often we think we know Gods ways and we miss our opportunity to receive our blessing. Many of us have an overabundant supply of faith, but we are missing the works the way God wants us to work. God always has the solution. Go to God and seek His counsel to bring you victory.
