Fight a Good Fight
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Galatians 5:17Whether you know it or not or whether you deny it or accept it, you are in a continuous spiritual battle. The Bible is filled with stories of battles, valiant heroes and defeated enemies. The Bible is also filled with excellent weaponry and strategies waiting for every believer to unlock. After all, God has given you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in Heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth is loosed in Heaven.
Are you fighting the battle? Or have you given up the fight? It takes nothing to throw in the towel to the enemy and say, "Lord, I cannot go on. I give up." And I see that happening to believers every day. Financial woes getting believers depressed. Marital problems creating disastrous effects in homes. A believers health is stopping them from moving forward with God.
The problem is not the problem itself; understand that those problems in your life are there to bring more anointing into your life. The problem is that we are fighting the wrong fight. When finances go wrong, we blame God for not being our Jehovah Jireh. Marital problems? Were fighting our spouses. Our health is failing us? Were visiting doctors and getting more negative results.
You have but one enemy ... Satan. If you want to fight a good fight, you need to know that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual wickedness of this world. If you're on a losing streak, you need to go to God and get His direction. Doctors, psychiatrists, physicians and marriage counsellors cannot help.
Heres how to fight a good fight — firstly, identify the enemy attacking you. Then, get on your knees in prayer and use Gods closet of weaponry to overcome all the works of the enemy. And remember ... the bigger the problem, the greater your victory.
