Stand.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Ephesians 6:13When men go into battle, they do not just sit around waiting for the enemy to attack. 1 Peter 5:8 tells you to "be sober and vigilant for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
Paul tells the church in Ephesus that they must, above all, stand. We all have those difficult times in our lives; times when we feel like just throwing in the towel and giving up. Times when, just when God is ready to take us to another level, we get spiritually blinded by our circumstances and cannot see Gods will and plan for our lives.
In 2 Corinthians 4, Paul assures us that "we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed." Despite your circumstances, stand on the Word of God and know who you are in the Kingdom and who your God is.
Hebrews 13:5 says that He will never leave you nor forsake you. He upholds you with His righteous right hand. He tells you not to be dismayed for He is the Lord God Almighty.
You have been redeemed by the spotless, unblemished blood of the Lamb. The blood has washed you of all your sins. The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made you free from the law of sin and death. Jesus defeated principalities and powers and made an open show of Satan and his forces over 2,000 years ago. And He has given you the power over all the works of the enemy. Your weapons are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. God has given you the victory through Christ Jesus. Your faith overcomes the world. In all things, remember that you are more than a conqueror through Him that loves you.
