There are times in our lives where we feel like nobody cares. We go through a tribulation and think, "I wish I could share this with somebody. I wish somebody knew what I was going through. I wish somebody would just listen to me." Today, remember this ... God cares for you. And God loves you.

He has taken the time to count every hair on your head. He took the time to delicately mould you and shape you into the beautiful image that you see in the mirror. He spent time to ensure that when He created you, He created you a perfect being; a person that would reflect His glory and beauty.

Do you know what a sparrow is worth? In U.S. Dollars, it is worth two-fifths of one cent. For South Africans, that equates to approximately three cents. Two sparrows are sold for that price. Three cents to you and I is insignificant. But God says that even these birds which we consider worthless are not allowed to die without Him knowing about it.

How much more will God look out for you? Of all creation, you were created in His image and likeness. He cared enough to send His Son to die on an old rugged cross for you. And He does not wait for you to accept Him. He extends His love to you always. He wants you to inherit an eternal Kingdom. He wants you to share in His wealth. And what does He say? "If you call upon My name you shall be saved."

God wants you to call upon His name. Whatever your situation He wants to carry that burden for you. Man may not have time to listen to you or to sympathise with you. But God does. He never wants you to be alone. He never wanted you to be alone to fend for yourself. You are worth more than many sparrows, and God wants you to never forget that. Lets face it; God loves you.
