Might In Your Hands
And when Jesus was come into Peters house, he saw his wifes mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
Matthew 8:14 to 15In Mark 16 Jesus gave His disciples an instruction, "You shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." In John 14, Jesus told His disciples, "He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he also do, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father."
In a short span of thirty-three years Jesus healed the sick, set the captives free, made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk and the mute talk. And how did He do this? Sometimes He commanded the evil spirits to be quiet, in other cases He simply laid hands on people and healed them.
The days of "Take up your bed and walk" and "Your faith has made you whole" still exist today. Jesus said that signs and wonders shall follow them that believe.
When you look at your hands do you believe that those hands can do the impossible? Do you believe that, with your faith in the name and blood of Jesus, together with the anointing of God and the might of a gentle touch with your hands, sickness can scatter and Gods people can be set free?
Gods command was simple, "Lay hands on the sick." God will do the rest. He says that He will heal. Are you living a life that lacks faith? Do you look at your hands and see only scars and marks from battles fought?
God has made your hands a dynamic tool. A simple laying on of hands can bring victory. Can you imagine the impact you could have if you started stretching forth your hands over multitudes and watching the presence of a living God move and set people free? Surrender your life to the LORD, raise your mighty hands in surrender to Him, and believe and trust God that your life shall be transformed to a life of power in the name of JESUS.
