Is your hope and your trust in the things of this world? Money is important; we all need it, but do not be consumed by it. Mighty men and women of God fall because of the love of money. My friend, if you are in financial need and you do not know where to put your trust, I implore you not to put that trust in the national lottery system.

There is a principle in the Bible called, "sowing and reaping." If you have a few rands to spare and you find yourself tempted to play the lottery, you would be much richer if you gave those rands to somebody in need and watch God multiply that gift. When you follow Gods principles God will always honour His Word. But God does not delight in Christians who start trusting in the worlds way of getting rich.

The national lottery and our many casinos might have the ability to make you an overnight millionaire; but those riches do not last. Solomon says that those riches shall be diminished. Statistics have shown that people who win the national lottery have wasted their wealth and are now in conditions worse than what they were in before they won the lottery.

But Gods way of blessing and prosperity adds no sorrow. Gods blessings are there for you to enjoy. God wants you to prosper and He has a plan of prosperity for your life. That plan does not include casinos, online gambling, horse-betting and any other form of lottery or gambling. Gods plan of prosperity follows Gods principles, and His principles are always right.

My friend, put your trust in God and in His Living Word. Do what the Bible commands and you will have good success. Success that shows forth the glory of God in your life, success that makes your crooked paths straight, success that makes people wonder why everything you put your hand to do prospers.
