Daily Devotional

Make a joyful noise, all ye people, sing a song to the LORD; of His goodness and His mercy, of His faithfulness and love. Worship the LORD, praise His Holy Name, come now and worship the Lord, lets praise His Holy Name.

God is good, and His mercy endures forever. He is the Author and Ruler of Heaven and earth. The earth shakes at the sound of His voice and the clouds are indeed the dust of His feet. His name is Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Prince of peace, the Everlasting Father; and the government shall be upon His shoulder.

Heaven is His throne room and the earth is His footstool. He is the great I AM, the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and the Morning Star. He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He is the Rock of Ages and the Ancient of Days; He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.

He is our Good Shepherd; The Way, the Truth, the Resurrection and the Life. He is the Saviour of the world, my Deliverer and friend. Jesus Christ is my best friend. He is the Lamb of God; the Son of the only true and living God and His name makes the enemy tremble.

Do you know Jesus Christ? Do you know the Lord God Almighty, the God who created you with purpose, hope and a future? If you do not know Jesus, I encourage you to just call upon His name. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Ask Him to show you who He is, and how much He loves you.

Wherever you find yourself at this moment, whatever you may be going through, call upon the name of Jesus. Man will disappoint you. But the God of the living has hands that uphold you and that can sustain you. He can heal you and deliver you. He is indeed a God worthy of all praise and adoration.
