Have you ever been to the doctor for a check-up and he asks, "Does anyone in your family suffer with ...?" Generational curses are real and curses can definitely be passed down from one generation to another. Generational curses can attack your health, your prosperity, your blessings and your health. Generational curses can destroy what God intended for your life.

God does not want you living under any curses. He wants you to be set free. He wants you to inherit your Promised Land. Do not let your life be held captive by previous generations. The Bible says, "Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations." You can change your life and the lives of your children today.

God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on a tree for you. And the Bible says that, "Cursed is any man that hangeth on a tree." In other words, Jesus Christ, by dying on the cross, took on every curse that would exist on this earth. He had that curse nailed to Him so that you can walk free from curses. But just because it was nailed to the cross does not mean that curses do not exist today.

Curses still exist, but you have a greater power in the name of Jesus to break curses and to release freedom into your life. To break curses in your life, you need to firstly acknowledge and accept the God who took curses away by dying on a tree. Once you are a child of God you can ask God to break generational curses that have a hold over your life.

Examine your ancestry today and break every curse brought down by your family line because of their disobedience to God. You can be free because Jesus came to set you free.
