God of the Impossible

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 9:23

Do you trust God to do signs and wonders in and around you? The Bible says that signs and wonders shall follow them that believe.

How impossible can things get when you believe in the impossible? Well, lets start with the heavens we see. We realize that God is in charge of the heavens. He made the sun stand still; He withheld rain for three and a half years and made fire fall from Heaven. He made manna fall from skies too, and used the heavens to feed His children for forty years.

God is God of the earth too. He sent locusts and flies to frustrate the Egyptians. He made the walls of Jericho collapse and He used Moses to smite a rock and make water flow. And then His Son used the dust of the ground to make a blind man see again, turned water into wine and made five loaves and two fish feed five thousand men.

And God is God of the waters too. He separated the Red Sea for Moses and the Jordan River for Elijah. He made the Red Sea consume His enemies. Jesus calmed a storm and made waters still. He even defied the law of gravity and nature and walked on water. Why? Because God is the Author and Creator of Heaven and earth. He can call swarms of locusts to consume and He stills storms. He created all that we see around us; and He is still in control.

But He went one further. He unleashed His Spirit for you and I. And then He said, "The things I do, ye shall do also. And greater things than this shall ye do." Moses made signs and wonders follow him. So did Peter and Paul. Silas had the Spirit of God in him and his praise caused an earthquake.

God wants to do great and mighty works through you. But you need to believe that God can use you. More importantly, you need to believe that this God wants to do the impossible today.
