Rejection Is Not of God
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner.
Matthew 3:11 to 12 (paraphrased, words of John the Baptist)"He will gather his wheat into the garner." My friend, as a child of the Living God you need to know that rejection is not of God. As a child of God you have been gathered into Gods garner, His safe place, into His home, into a spiritual Kingdom where moth, rust and man cannot destroy you.
Webster defines rejection as the act of throwing away; the act of casting off or forsaking. And many people today feel that they have been rejected. This includes rejection by parents, friends, society, family, and sometimes, we even feel rejected by God. You would not be alone if you have felt rejection in your life.
I want you to know today that rejection is not from God. In Matthew 23 Jesus said, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chicks under her wings, and ye would not."
In the book of Joshua, God said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Paul wrote, "Now ye are the Body of Christ, and members in particular." You belong to a family that no man can take away from you. You are special in the eyes of God; your name has been imprinted into Gods palm. He knows more about you than you know about yourself.
Rejection is not of God! If you have felt rejected or been rejected because you were just not what man expected you to be, I want to encourage you to go to God. Go to a Father who knows only how to love and give good gifts to them that will enter His home. Go to a Father who accepts you as you are, who was willing to give His only Son as a sacrifice for this world.
I want you to know that rejection is not of God! God loves you and promises to be by your side 24x7x365.
