Get Answers from God

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God; yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. And God saw their works; that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Jonah 3:8 to 10

Do you get tired of fighting the same battles? How long are you willing to wait on God to get answers? How much are you willing to be still in Gods presence before you give up?

The truth is that many people give up during their prayer time. They have the faith, but lack the patience to wait in Gods presence or to pray until they see victory.

Do you pray for five minutes and trust that God will answer that prayer? From the story of Jonah and the people of Nineveh, learn to pray until you get an answer. If it means praying from midnight to early morning, do so.

Paul writes, "Pray without ceasing." We read further in the Word that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." Prayer is the key to unlocking Gods power upon this earth. Five minutes prayer is not sustainable. Routine prayer is not sustainable either.

Effectual and fervent prayer is a heart attitude. Jesus prayed until His sweat appeared as drops of blood. It was that time of prayer that strengthened Him to carry that cross and die for you and for me.

I do not know what your situation is. But what I can tell you is that if you have been fighting the same situation day in and day out, wait on the LORD until you get a revelation from Him. Pray until you have that confirmation from God that the victory is yours.
