Zero Tolerance

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7

Today, I want you to confess, "This year I will not tolerate any attacks of the enemy against my life. I am going to resist the devil and the devil will have no option but to flee, in the name of JESUS." This year must be a year of breakthrough, a year of watching the enemy scatter in fear as you boldly proclaim the Word of God. This year is going to be a year where you are not going to accept what the enemy has thrown or is planning to throw at you, but you are going to fight a good fight and you are going to run the race that is set before you with patience.

Today, make a bold, confident confession that indeed, "No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper over me, in the name of JESUS. Every dart that the enemy has thrown at me, I destroy by the fire of God, in the precious name of JESUS. This year the enemy is going to be afraid to rise up against me. Why? Because he will scatter faster than when he rose up against me. This year, demons are going to tremble when they see me, because I am going to be on fire for God, in the name of JESUS."

Now, the second area of zero tolerance that I want you to confess is in the area of temptation and sin. Before you make this confession I want you to read the confession mentally and then ask yourself, "Is this the confession I really want to make this year?" Let your Yes be yes and let your No be no — no promises. But God wants you to stand by the confession you make. Here is the confession:

"This year, I want to develop a spirit of zero tolerance against sin and temptation. This year must be a year of submission to God and not to the lusts of the flesh. This year I will endeavour to be pleasing unto God and to delight in my Creator. In the name of JESUS, I am going to be an overcomer and I will inherit a land flowing with milk and honey. My delight is not in my own life and wants, but my delight will be in the Lord."
