The Word tells us that the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elijah was such a man; the book of James tells us that "Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months." He was a man driven by prayer; and it was his earnest prayer that moved God to withhold rain for three and a half years.

How desperate are you for a breakthrough? How ready are you to receive from God today? God is not dead, but alive. He can take the dead remnants of your life and he can revive it. JEHOVAH is not a God of the dead, but a God of the living.

Are you sick? Father, in the name of Jesus, I speak Your life and Your breath into every cell in my body. I know that You are alive and that You are my JEHOVAH-RAPHA, the LORD that heals and makes whole. I thank You that through Jesus I can live in victory. I thank You today that I am healed and free of sickness.

Are you in need? God is your JEHOVAH-JIREH, your Provider. He will provide for you as He provided for the Israelites in the desert for forty years.

Are you tired of life? Do you feel afraid and abandoned? God is your JEHOVAH-NISSI and JEHOVAH-ROHI, your Banner and your Shepherd. The name of the LORD is a strong tower. God is a God of hope and of life; a God of awesomeness and magnificence. He has planned an abundant, prosperous life for you. And He can remove all negativity from your life and restore you to be the person He created you to be.

Are you troubled? God is your JEHOVAH-SHALOM, the God of peace. God will turn your battleground into a blessing ground. Remember that with Jesus, all things are possible to them that believe. Today, walk in the truth of the Word of God, knowing that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
