We talk about worshipping the Father in spirit and in truth; we talk about Jesus being the Way, the Truth and the Life; but many people do not know the Holy Spirit.

And when you start to think about the Gods Spirit you realize that the Holy Spirit is very much like God the Father and His Son. The same authority with which the Father said, "Let there be..." is the same authority that the Holy Spirit has.

The same power that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, the prophets of Baal, and the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is the same power that you will find in the Holy Spirit.

Moreover, the compassion that Jesus showed to the multitudes and the mercy He had on the sinners is the same mercy and compassion that you will find in the Holy Spirit. Truth be told, every characteristic of God that you find in the Word of God are the same characteristics that you will find in the Holy Spirit.

Do you have the Holy Spirit abiding in you? It is the Holy Spirit that ignites your life with fire. It is the Holy Spirit that will comfort you in your time of mourning and will guide you when you reach a crossroad in your life. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts you of sin and encourages you to run the race and fight a good fight of faith. It is the Holy Spirit that will never leave you nor forsake you. It is the Holy Spirit that will guide you into all truth and will warn you of dangers ahead and traps that the enemy is laying for you.

God never left you alone when Jesus returned to Heaven. He sent you His Holy Spirit to be your friend twenty-four hours a day. The next time you worship God, don't forget to recognize the Holy Spirit in your life — it is only through the Holy Spirit that you can walk a life well-pleasing to God.
