The Sky Is Not the Limit

Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20 to 21

How often do we limit God because of the things we say? "Well, the skys the limit." they say. But as I pondered on this today I realized that the sky is not the limit. To be politically correct the sky is only the first heaven. But there is a Heaven that I know of that goes beyond what the physical eye can see.

Jesus prayed, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven." So the Heaven we should be setting our eyes on is the Heaven that is the throneroom of God. And God says that the things in Heaven should be brought down to earth. If there is no sickness in Heaven, we need to get rid of sickness here on earth.

Is there poverty in Heaven? I believe that one of these days I will be walking on streets of gold. So no, there is no poverty in Heaven. There is no sorrow in Heaven — God wants His will done here on earth, as it is in Heaven.

Where are you setting your eyes on? Are you limiting yourself and God to the sky? To what the physical eyes see? The Bible says that all things are possible to them that believe.

You need to stop looking at a situation as hopeless or as insurmountable. You need to stop looking at a valley as just another valley. Just because a mountain has been standing in your way for the past twenty years does not mean that you do not have the authority today to make that mountain a flattened plain before you.

You need to start believing in the power of God. Ask God to open your spiritual eyes — you need to start seeing ladders between Heaven and earth and angels passing between. Do not limit God to what your physical eyes see; the sky is not the limit. ALL THINGS are possible to them that believe.
