Don't Lose Your Jesus
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? Whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
John 20:15 to 16Have you lost your Jesus? Amongst the clutter of todays responsibilities and hectic lifestyles, have you lost your Jesus? With the heartache and the pain and the disappointments of life ... have you lost your Jesus? We do that sometimes. We get so caught up in our lives that we push Jesus aside to do what we think is the right thing to do.
Mary ran to the tombstone to look for Jesus. A lot of us are doing this too. We are looking in the wrong place for Jesus. He is ALIVE. The sepulchre could not contain Him. The grave could not hold Him.
Todays message is for those who want to find Jesus. There are many who feel that they are so far from finding Him that it is just not worth looking for Him, or you feel that when you find Him, He may reject you. But do not believe this.
God went into Gideons darkness to find him and give him light. When Elijah was discouraged and cursed himself to death, God strengthened him and revived him. When Jonah ran away from God, even the fishs belly could not take him out of Gods presence. God will meet you where you are at this very moment.
You may feel like you have disappointed God, but let me tell you ... God remains faithful. He wants to draw closer to you. The Bible says that His grace is more than sufficient for you and His mercies are new every morning.
I want you to know this ... JESUS knows you by name. He has your name imprinted in His palm. Jesus is calling you closer today. Do not lose your Jesus. He is more precious than gold, and worth more than all that this world can offer you.
