Have you discovered the talents God has given you? Do you know what your strengths are and how to use those strengths to bear much fruit in the Kingdom of God? Or are you just living life? You go to work, do what your job description says, go home, eat, spend some time with the family, and then sleep. Only to repeat the same routine the next day.

I ask you today, "Can man improve on what God has already perfected in you?" God created you a spirit being when He created the rest of the earth. At that time, God perfected talents, gifts and abilities within you. It is sad, though, that we look to the world to perfect those talents. Some of us go as far as imitating Pastors and evangelists when God wants us to be just us.

So many of us want to please man. We go to all these fancy schools to perfect our voices and to know when to sing low, when to sing high — is that important to God? God has perfected His praises within you. When you dance to God, are you like David who danced naked or do you find the need to follow some routine in order to make sure that your dancing is perfect? Are you led by the flesh or by the Spirit?

Do not get me wrong, there are magnificent anointed men of God who can teach us a lot; but is our trust in them to shape us and to make us? Or do we go to God to perfect our talents?

We make a big deal about going to Bible schools and dance classes and all these leadership courses. God uses the simple to confound the wise. I exhort you today; if you want to live a life perfect and holy unto God, do not put your trust in mans way of doing things. Yes, it is great to go to Bible school and to learn from men and women of God, but your final authority must come from the God who perfected you in the very beginning; the God who knows how many strands of hair are on your head.
